A Diablo 4 marketplace is a place to arrange trades with other players, because the game itself has no auction house. Everything happens in two steps: you agree on a deal outside the game, then you meet in-game and use the trade window to exchange gold, items, Charms or Seals. This site is a gold-and-items-only trade board where every trader is a Battle.net-verified BattleTag, so you always know who you're dealing with before you log in.
What Actually Trades in Diablo 4
Diablo 4's economy is narrower than Diablo 2's, and knowing what moves saves you a lot of wasted listings:
- Gold - the universal currency. Most mid-tier gear deals are quoted in gold.
- Tradeable Uniques and Legendaries - the better rolled ones move fastest. Bad rolls are usually salvage.
- Rare gear with strong affix rolls - the backbone of trading at the start of a season.
- Charms and Seals - both are tradeable in Diablo 4, which makes them a real part of the economy rather than a personal-only drop.
- Consumables and crafting materials - demand rises and falls with the season's meta.
What does not trade, ever:
- Mythic Uniques - account-bound by design. No marketplace can sell you one, and anyone claiming otherwise is either scamming or breaking the rules.
- Anything that binds on pickup - if it locked to your account when it dropped, it's yours.
How Trading Works on This Marketplace
The trade board here is deliberately simple: gold, runes and items only, no real money. Every listing trader has a Battle.net-verified BattleTag attached, which is the single most useful anti-scam feature any trading site can have. When you see an item you want:
- Check the listing and the trader's BattleTag.
- Message them through the board or in-game to agree a price.
- Meet in-game and use the trade window.
- Both players confirm, and the deal is done.
The actual exchange is always the in-game trade window. That's the only secure way to move items between players, and it means neither side can be forced into a weird third-party arrangement. For more detail, the how Diablo 4 trading works write-up covers the full flow.
Pricing Your Items
Nothing kills a listing faster than a fantasy price. A few principles:
- Timing matters more than the item. A solid Unique that's worth a lot in week one of a season is often vendor trash by mid-season as supply floods in. Cheap early, expensive early - the same item can sit at opposite ends of the value curve.
- Rolls matter. Two copies of the same Unique can be worth very different amounts depending on affix rolls. Compare the whole roll, not just the name.
- Class demand shifts. When a build takes off, its gear spikes in demand. Watch what's popular on the ladder.
For what each item is, whether it trades, and what drives its value, use the price reference. It's a value reference rather than a live ticker, so treat it as a starting point and adjust for your season's age and server.
Staying Safe When You Trade
Most Diablo 4 trade problems come from the same handful of tricks, and all of them are avoidable:
- Verify the item in the trade window before confirming. Hover it. Check the rolls match what was advertised. Scammers rely on you clicking confirm fast.
- Watch the gold amount. A common trick is changing the gold value at the last second. Re-read the number every time.
- Don't trade for anything outside the game. No cash, no gift cards, no "I'll pay you later." Real-money trading breaks Blizzard's terms of service and risks your account, and it's banned on this board too.
- Stick to verified BattleTags. Every trader here is verified against Battle.net, so if someone asks you to deal with an untagged account, walk away.
- One trade window, one deal. Splitting a trade into multiple windows or "I'll send the rest after" arrangements are where people get burned.

Know Your Market Before You Farm
Trading efficiently starts before an item drops. Two things make the biggest difference:
A loot filter. Diablo 4's built-in loot filter lets you Hide junk, Show what matters and Recolor high-value drops so you stop picking up vendor trash. PC players can import a filter code directly (Options > Gameplay > enable the Loot Filter shortcut, then Game Menu > Loot Filter > Import, paste, name it, set it active). Only one filter runs at a time, and each holds up to 25 rules. Console players can't paste codes, so you rebuild rules by hand - every filter page on this site shows the decoded rule list, which doubles as a console checklist. Grab one from loot filters.
Class knowledge. Knowing which affixes your class actually wants tells you what to list and what to salvage. If you're farming for trade stock, the class-specific trade guides here cover what's worth listing for Sorcerer, Rogue, Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer and Spiritborn, and /loot-filters has matching filters for each.
Frequently Asked Bits
Can I trade Mythic Uniques if I find a duplicate? No. They're account-bound, full stop. A duplicate Mythic goes to your alts or gets salvaged - there's no market for them because there legally isn't one.
Are Charms and Seals tradeable? Yes, both are, which makes them one of the more interesting parts of the current economy. Price them against the value reference rather than guessing.
What about the Season 14 boss ladder? The Lair Key ladder shapes what people are farming, and that shapes what's in supply. When everyone runs the same bosses, their target drops get cheap. Check the season 14 trading changes guide for how the ladder affects the market.
Is trading even allowed? Yes - player-to-player trading for gold and items is a normal, supported part of Diablo 4. What isn't allowed is real-money trading, which breaks Blizzard's terms. As long as your deals are gold, runes and items, you're fine.
The short version: use the board to find verified traders, price against /prices, confirm everything in the trade window, and keep real money out of it entirely. That's the whole marketplace in four steps.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a marketplace in Diablo 4?
Not in the game itself. Diablo 4 has no auction house, so players trade directly in-game using the trade window. Marketplace websites like this one exist to connect buyers and sellers before they meet up in-game.
What can you trade in Diablo 4?
Gold, tradeable items, Charms and Seals. Mythic Uniques are account-bound and can never be traded, and anything that binds to you on pickup is off the table too.
Can you buy Diablo 4 items with real money?
No. Real-money trading breaks Blizzard's terms of service and can get your account actioned. All trading on this site is for in-game gold, runes and items only.
How do I know what my item is worth?
Check the /prices reference on this site for what drives each item's value, then compare against what buyers are actually offering. Demand swings hard across a season, so early-season gear is usually worth far more.
